“Hey,” I’m Laura Garcia, a Canadian-based intuitive writer with a mad love for supply chain, procurement, and sustainability. After a 20+ year career in supply chain and procurement (in a manufacturing environment, to be exact), I sold my home, quit my job, flew to Greece, started a blog, and after an intensive three months of content writing about everything under the sun in Thailand, decided it was time to get back to my roots—supply chain.

Blockchain was all but promising to save the world (I, however, was just happy it could bring traceability and transparency to our supply chains). And what blockchain couldn’t do, Industry 4.0 could. The three amigos—IoT, AI, and Big Data — had begun revolutionizing the manufacturing floor, and things were about to get exciting.
